Number of Openings: 1 The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Production Graphic Artist will produce high-quality designs for custom apparel and promotional products. The ability to produce high-quality designs in a fast-paced environment is critical. The willingness to proactively expand upon your abilities as a graphic artist is an asset. Attention to detail in every step of the file preparation and proofing process is a must. Demonstration of strong compositional skills, alignment, and typography is a requirement for success in this position. An individual in this position will be respectful of co-workers upstream and downstream and will work diligently to make co-workers successful as well. Having a passion for the custom apparel industry and a genuine interest in the customer base are also important. REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creativity across different mediums. Able to give and receive constructive criticism  In-depth experience and an established track record in artwork design and finalization, with great attention to detail Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines  Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people WHAT YOU WILL DO Designing graphics for apparel and/or promotional items. Performing easy to moderate edits to existing illustrations. Manipulating customer provided artwork or templated designs. Preparing Proofs. Executing design change requests. Preparing files for screen printing, digital printing, embroidery, and printing for other various product types. Communication with account managers. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field. Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or other relevant experience. Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. Technical Skills: Proficient in both Microsoft and Google applications. Industry Specific Software/Knowledge: Proficient with Adobe programs, specifically Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign. Be able to create designs using spot colors in Illustrator and Photoshop. Be self-directed, accountable, and efficient. A strong portfolio displaying the ability to create original, digitally executed designs.
