Sea Colony is looking for a passionate and dedicated Health Educator to join our health and wellness team. As a leading provider of vacation experiences, we are committed to promoting the health and well-being of our guests and the community. In this role, the Health Educator will develop and implement innovative health education programs and initiatives that inspire our guests to adopt healthier lifestyles. You will work closely with guests to provide resources, conduct workshops, and facilitate engaging activities that focus on fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong background in health promotion, and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for others. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver health education programs and workshops tailored to the needs and interests of our guests.
  • Conduct individual health assessments and provide personalized recommendations for improving wellness.
  • Create informative materials, such as brochures and guides, to share health education and resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide health promotion activities that enhance the guest experience.
  • Organize and facilitate fitness classes, nutrition workshops, and other wellness events.
  • Stay current with health trends and best practices to ensure our programs are effective and relevant.
  • Evaluate and measure the impact of health initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Community Health, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health education or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of health promotion principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in creating educational materials and utilizing digital platforms for health promotion.
  • Ability to organize and lead workshops and events effectively.
  • Certification in health education or wellness coaching is a plus.
