As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and continuous improvement of the platform's product offerings. Your primary goal will be to ensure the platform meets the needs of its clients and remains competitive in the market.
Product Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy, including setting both short-term and long-term goals that align with the company's overall objectives.
Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business requirements.
Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, operation and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and launch processes.
User Experience: Oversee the user experience of the platform, ensuring it is intuitive and easy to use, while also providing the necessary functionality for businesses and employees.
Metrics & Performance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and inform future decisions.
Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing product team, including all relevant roles.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and updates to internal and external stakeholders, including company leadership, investors, and customers.
Compliance & Security: Ensure that Horizons' platform complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations across the countries it operates in, as well as maintaining high standards for data privacy and security.
Success in this role would come from a combination of strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to stay ahead of market trends and customer expectations.
Working experience
7+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the HR technology, payroll, or Employer of Record (EoR) industries.
A proven track record of leading product managers / owners and successfully launching and scaling products.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
Familiarity with global employment laws and regulations, as well as data privacy and security standards.
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
