Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Squad Leader to oversee strategic initiatives within our Master Data Management (MDM) platform. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for agile-based methodologies to drive system improvements and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

• Define and communicate the squad’s mission and roadmap, aligning team and partner support.
• Serve as the product owner and end-to-end gatekeeper for the squad’s mission, ensuring strategic priorities are met.
• Anticipate and prioritize client and partner needs, acting as their advocate within the team.
• Define, evaluate, and communicate results against acceptance criteria and product goals.
• Oversee squad operations in an agile environment, facilitating planning, prioritization, and execution of product backlogs.
• Collaborate with Chapter Leaders and Scrum Masters to enhance team capabilities and ensure member growth and development.
• Navigate trade-offs between quality, cost, and timelines to optimize product value.
• Coordinate with other Squad Leaders to address software lifecycle concerns and platform enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of work experience in dynamic product management, preferably within financial services.
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies; proficiency with Jira and Jira Align is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, influence without formal authority, and drive project execution.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-focused approach to decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong collaborative relationships across various business units.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile certification or significant experience with agile project management tools.
• Financial services industry experience, especially in asset management or client international data management.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in a team setting.
