Global Sales Excellence Business & Programme Manager - Worldwide Support Sales - London or Remote

£77,000 including benefits - can be based remotely or if preferred from their Paddington based office.

Core skills:

  • Understands Sales Excellence - drives business execution.

  • Technical product knowledge, especially around the Microsoft Suite of products.

This role is envisaged as a part of the Worldwide Support Sales Business, in the Sales Excellence Team.

They are hiring 3 senior Vendors, to support the Sales Excellence operations in respective TZ Regions (Time Zones): ASIA, EMEA & Americas.

The WW Support Sales Organization leads the strategy, execution, and landing of all Sales and Sales Operations related matters. The Sales Excellence Team, in which this role sits, provides execution, landing guidance, coaching and orchestration on all Sales Excellence, Pipe Hygiene, Business Forecasting & Management and tactical and strategic Sales Excellence to the field.

Key Responsibilities for the Global Sales Excellence Business & Programme Manager position:

  • To be responsible for helping drive all matters connected to Support Sales Excellence in your respective TZ Region.
  • To be responsible for helping drive consistent and constant improvement in Pipe Hygiene and Forecasting.
  • To be a partner and collaborate closely with the Support Sales, Sales Excellence, Finance and Enablement Leads, for their respective TZ Regions, as they execute as per the annual Support Sales Excellence Plan & Strategy.
  • To be the subject matter expert in all issues connected with Support Sales Excellence & Operations, and to help & guide the field to find the right solutions & resources.
  • To orchestrate Pipeline Hygiene in their respective TZ Regions, as per standard guidelines, and for ensuring the Regional TZ and the various Areas are diligently and consistently improving their adoption and coverage.
  • To partner closely with team leads outside of Support Sales at the Area level, to clearly understand their roles & responsibilities, and work collaboratively to drive the rhythm of business for Support Sales.
  • Manage project milestones, status and communications to ensure LT alignment/input as well as drive effective landing and measurement of these strategic investments.
  • To build trust and foster working relationships with the cross-functional teams (as above) in each Area in their TZs.
  • To enable and strongly help adopt long term and strategic training and readiness related to Sales Excellence, by working together with Support Sales Managers.
  • To be responsible for, from an HQ Sales Excellence perspective, for driving consistent and constant improvement in Forecasting of the business.
  • To be the HQ's point person for Sales Operational programs, such as landing and adoption, problem solving and Area execution.
  • To understand the TZ's Support Sales Business, to bring his/her own analytical understanding to a discussion, and be an active participant in helping land the overall FY22 Support Sales Excellence and Operations' Strategy and Plan.
  • To be responsible for understanding all business tools and processes that are used for Support Sales Excellence, to provide occasional, and as required coaching, to be responsible for reports and business analysis as might be required by the TZ.

Skills, Capabilities & behaviours required for the Global Sales Excellence Business & Programme Manager position:

Since this role sits in the Sales Excellence Team, it needs to bridge a few competencies. This includes first and foremost, to having a passion for business, data, and analysis. The person needs to be a self-starter but have strong collaborative skills: this job will require strong teaming. The purpose of this role is to help', enable' and orchestrate', besides being very hands -on.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Clear, demonstratable and unequivocal passion for business analysis.
  • Program Management ability: Ability to understand programmatic execution, and how to orchestrate across teams.
  • Well-versed in usage of standard Microsoft, or Industry standard business analysis tools/platform: To be very comfortable working with Excel and pivot tables, and maintaining and extracting data from complex reporting.
  • Ability to problem-solve, to have the patience to see an issue through to its final, logical conclusion
  • Excellent communication skills in English: written and oral.
  • Ability to be able to work & perform with excellence from Home, or a mix of Home and Office, as the work conditions prescribe.
  • Have an attitude of learning & self-improvement.
  • To be detail orientated and be able to drill down into Pipeline status, Forecasting/Business KPIs.
  • Mine business analytics infrastructure that yields data and insights to help determine project scope, direction and success measures.

Great to have/Optional Competencies for the Global Sales Excellence Business & Programme Manager position:

  • Any kind of professional certification around business management, or process optimization.
  • Coaching Certification, or experience.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity/role in a comparable organisation
  • Distill insights through key forums and channels to maximize institutional knowledge and organizational agility across sales, marketing, customer success, partner, and offering teams.
  • Demonstrate an ability to ramp quickly on new initiatives, and be willing to pivot quickly to new responsibilities as business needs dictate.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience in relevant fields (eg business management, sales, information technology, operations).
  • 2+ years of experience in Business analysis/Pipeline analysis/Funnel management.
  • Executive exposure and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Additional language is a plus.
