Patrique Mercier Recruitment FR is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a German Speaking Anti-Financial Crime Unit Agent to join a prominent organization while working remotely in Greece. This role is essential for individuals who are dedicated to combating financial crime and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. In this position, you will be investigating suspicious transactions and activities, contributing to the prevention of fraud and money laundering.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive investigations of questionable transactions and client activities, identifying indicators of financial crime.
• Examine customer information and transaction histories to uncover anomalies reflective of potential fraud or money laundering.
• Document findings in detailed reports and communicate results to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, law enforcement, and regulatory entities to ensure compliance and effective crime prevention.
• Keep abreast of new trends in financial crime, anti-money laundering legislation, and compliance regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues on compliance standards and effective detection methods for financial crimes.
• Maintain precise records of investigations and actions taken as part of compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in anti-financial crime, compliance, fraud detection, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of anti-money laundering laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant data analysis tools and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple investigative projects effectively.
