Fundraiser

The Missing Piece is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fundraiser to join our team. As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our fundraising goals and secure necessary resources to support our programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners. You will collaborate with the development team to create and execute fundraising campaigns and events, as well as identify new funding opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing donor databases, tracking fundraising progress, and providing regular reports to the management team.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a genuine passion for our cause. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines is essential for success in this role.

This position has a base salary and a generous commission, with an opportunity to develop the sales team in other locations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or sales
• Proven track record of successfully raising funds and closing deals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in using donor management software and CRM systems
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and industry trends
