Full Stack LAMP Developer (80% remote)

Seeking an experienced Full Stack LAMP Developer to join a growing company in the Chicagoland area. You will be a full-stack developer.

This person will continue the support and further enhancement of already existing in-house applications. You will also help shape our internal build tools, processes, and techniques. As a Full Stack Developer you will be in a highly visible role, working closely with project leaders, designers, UX, strategists and executives. Consistently develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code to enhance the proprietary program

Manage and execute updates including programming and database changes across different frameworks.

Maintain a constant dialogue with the team to make sure development work is on time and tracking properly.

Follow industry security standards in implementing proper safeguards and performing vulnerability testing and assessment

Always deliver cross-browser/device uniformity and error free functionality with progressive enhancements.

Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.

Responsible for maintaining up to date weekly time tracking


Bachelor's Degree in computer science, web dev or equivalent experience

3+ years of professional web development experience.

Server management experience in managing a LAMP stack server

Proficiency in the following languages: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, Apache and Angular

Linux: Unbuntu, CentOS

Database experience: MySQL, MariaDB, AWS Aurora, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch

PHP Framework Experience: Silex, Lumen, Symphony, Laravel

Excellent communication skills are required

Prefer experience in AWS Cloud, Azure, Jenkins, Ansible , CI/CD

Prefer Quickbooks Integration (Web Connector, QBXML, Consolibyte DevKit) and Payment Processor Integrations (Authorize.net, Converge / My Virtual Merchant)
