Full Stack Engineer (80% Remote - Must Travel to NYC)

Title: Full Stack Engineer

Type: Contract
Length: 6+ Months
Location: Mostly remote with travel required for 3 days every 6 weeks to Manhattan, New York

The consultant will develop and test for a loosely coupled platform, driven architecture with focus on search and resiliency. It will focus on developing services and automation testing, though the resource will be required to work on UI as needed

• Focus on developing and testing C# services and applications (.NET Core and Kubernetes)
• Build Web API services with JSON and ASP.NET Core
• Build back-end messaging processing service utilizing C# and message query systems such as ServiceBus, MQ Series, and Kafka
• Build services that query Elasticsearch
• Define and build API application tests for web services utilizing JMeter and Visual Studio Test
• Build user experience using modern web app framework experience (React), Windows Platform (WPF/UWP) and iOS applications using Xamarin

Qualifications

• .NET Core/C# experience
• JSON-based API building with C#
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with JMeter
• DevOps experience for pipelines (Azure)

Nice to have:

• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Creation of pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Developing Kafka message consumers and producers
• Elastic APM and Kibana experience
