We set them.Job SummaryAllstate has many businesses that exist on separate financial systems. This adds cost to maintain these separate systems as well as adding complexity to gather and consolidate the necessary information to facilitate the demands for external and internal reporting.By getting these businesses on one financial system, we can then eliminate the costs associated from other independent financial systems and at the same time, utilize the improved technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness to the functions under the Finance Shared Service organization. Role purpose is to develop a strategic financial system roadmap and integrate National General and the rest of the Allstate family of companies into a future-state SAP platform. The individual would partner to help create business architecture, data flows and process designs for the new financial applications and maintenance efforts. Key ResponsibilitiesTo develop a holistic view of the Accounting/Financial landscape and how that integrates with new SAP General LedgerInvolvement in system integration support including requirements gathering, application configuration & testing, reports/interfaces/conversions/workflow development & testingCommunicates Product updates to executive stakeholders, communicates clearly in group meetings, and leads/facilitates business area processesIdentify current state documentation, benchmarking analysis, business case & roadmap development including functional process modeling, business architecture design, governance structure & reporting design, organizational structure & service delivery designJob QualificationsDesign ThinkingAgile Strategy and Execution Change Enablement/Change Management Accounting and Finance LiteracyProject ManagementGeneral knowledge of SAP applications but more of a focus on insurance business/Accounting processesBachelor's degree required, major in Accounting or Finance preferred7+ years of related experience preferredPublic accounting experience working with insurance clients preferredCompensation DataCompensation range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.Good Work. Good Life.
