Job Description

We are looking for you if...

* You are comfortable being dedicated to projects, as well as the support of complex system administration and providing support for Merit Financial Systems for Month-End processes, user security, and general system usage.
* You would enjoy the challenge of creating detailed Business Processes ensuring both innovation and alignment to Merit Medical's current business needs and strategic vision for business models & capabilities, and end-to-end business processes while supporting data quality.
* You would enjoy leveraging your business and technical expertise to drive the overall configuration architecture and technical solutions' for Merit Medical Finance, to make recommendations to improve the business processes and experience, and champion change to the business.
* You are capable of training and mentoring team members on system-related issues, changes to processes, system usage, and system implementations. To use your experiences to lead, mentor, and develop less experienced analysts on configuration, development, and testing best practices.
* You understand accounting principles and financial controls and apply a high level of quality to your work to ensure they are maintained.
* You can translate Financial business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for a technical solution, and then see it through from design to rollout to end-user change management.
* You have experience supporting a variety of technical solutions, including:
* Working knowledge of the Hyland OnBase platform and application.
* SAAS and/or hosted-third party solutions like SAP Concur, HighRadius, and/or Blackline
* Reporting and Analysis tools such as Oracle Hyperion Financial Reports, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, DOMO, etc.
* Information Management tools, including Microsoft Excel and Access with VBA, SQL Server, and Oracle SQL Developer


* Bachelor's degree (in Information Systems or Accounting-related course of study), preferred or equivalent work experience.
* 3 + years of relevant experience in troubleshooting and supporting large-scale enterprise-wide Financial Systems.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access (including VBA) preferred
* Knowledgeable in SQL query language preferred
* 2+ years of demonstrated project-based work with the ability in leading small groups to project completion.
