As part of Jacobs' Corporate Finance team, you'll join a group of strategic-focused professionals with a goal to ensure success of the company's financial systems.As leader of the Jacobs ERP Financial Applications Business process function, you'll be the functional owner and gatekeeper for business process architecture and functional change management of our ERP general ledger financial systems, in close collaboration with our IT ERP functions. You'll apply your sound understanding of best practice financial system accounting control structures and overall strong knowledge on the inherent integration of systems and processes of best practice ERP platforms to enable effective communications across all business levels. Specific ERP business process and oversight responsibilities include Oracle General ledger and related Oracle reporting, Global timekeeping, and labor cost distribution functional process modules. You'll report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the Company.As the Finance Manager - ERP financial applications business process, you'll be the primary point of contact and provide functional support to the diverse group of ERP financial application business stakeholders. You'll lead and support ERP integration projects/activities including requirements gathering, end to end testing, transactional data conversion, reconciliation of conversion activities, support and hyper care. Understanding the business will be critical, in order to identify enhancement and efficiency opportunities to the ERP and connected applications and business process in collaboration and coordination with functional owners, all submodule owners, and the business including beginning to end processes, testing and implementation. We'll rely on you to provide production support of activities and Global ERP users for proper direction or escalation for corrections or enhancements, mitigating risk, and working with IT to ensure fixes and improvements are delivered with little business disruption. You'll then communicate these and other Oracle ERP changes and activities to impacted users. Overall, you'll ensure appropriate controls and compliance for all activities relating to the ERP. Where appropriate, you'll approve user access to certain modules.
