Finance Analyst | Growing Cyber Security & Risk Advisory Firm | London/Remote

The Client

Harmonic Finance are excited to be working with a growing Cyber Security and Risk advisory consultancy (ranging from corporate risk through operational risk in dangerous jurisdictions and terror threat risk mitigation). They provide genuinely invaluable protection and prevention services with unrivalled global reach and significant investment in scaling the business towards management and advisory of '21st Century risk' putting on track to see substantial increases in revenue from a current £300m.

The Role

As the Finance Analyst, you will be reporting directly to the FP&A Manager within the SaaS arm of the business. The role is purely commercial with the majority of duties consisting of budgeting, forecasting, monthly analysis and business partnering with top heads. You will also be involved with strategic responsibilities including financial modelling, costings, scenario planning and more. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the production of Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for several software products
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders to develop budgets, forecast and perform ongoing commercial analysis
  • Support the FP&A Manager with projects to improve pricing, costing and scenario modelling
  • Producing high quality monthly reports and insightful monthly analysis
  • Support the Head of FP&A on new revenue recognition approaches
  • Analyse large volumes of Data (in Excel) and overtime look at ways to automate and improve processes
  • Extensive ad-hoc projects, analysis and reporting

What we need to see (Essential):

  • Part Qualified or Finalist (CIMA, ACCA)
  • Experience in FP&A, Finance Analyst or Commercial Finance Analyst roles
  • Experience working in a company with elements of digital tech or professional services
  • Proactive and keen to build relationships with people
  • Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn
  • Excellent Communicator

What we'd like to see (Non-essential):

  • Software / SaaS experience
  • Experience working in a fast-growth scale-up

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
