Role: ETL (Spark/Scala) Team Lead
Duration: 6 + Months
Location: Remote
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Team Lead to oversee and guide an ETL development team. As an ETL Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of ETL Developers and coordinating their efforts to design, develop, and maintain effective ETL processes. Your role will involve providing technical guidance, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the successful execution of data integration projects. You will play a key role in driving the team's productivity, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of ETL Developers
Create a framework of technical standards and procedures
Guide team members with troubleshooting technical issues
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team members
Plan and prioritize ETL development activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of ETL processes, ensuring compliance with coding standards, best practices, and data quality requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and meet business needs.
Work on cross enterprise projects with multi dependencies
Required Skills
Must hold a current Certification
5+ years' experience leading multiple ETL Teams
5+ years' experience with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, ETL, Pyspark, Jenkins, Python, HDFS and HIVE
5+ years' experience working with large data sets within SQL
Working knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of SAFe
Experience working in at least one of the following industries: Insurance, Healthcare or Finance
Work EST hours
Self-motivated, confident and critical thinking
Ability to learn at a rapid pace
Certification such as PMP strongly preferred
