Job Description

Enterprise Program ManagerPenn Foster is on a mission to connect people to jobs by providing digital learning solutions for individuals, job training organizations, and employers looking for sustained career advancement and development of robust talent pipelines. The Enterprise Program Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects tied to Penn Foster's strategic themes and focus areas. During planning cycles, the EPMO will work closely with the product team, requestors/deputies and the Investment Committee (I/C) to align on project requests, selection and prioritization. Post project approval, they will work with department/workstream leads to report on project status and provide an escalation path for risks and issues. You will act as a workstream lead within the larger Project Management Organization and will be responsible for directly managing their own set of projects in support of cross-functional initiatives. They will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining tools, templates, and processes to ensure project management best practices are being followed. This position will report to the Vice President of Solutions Engineering.ResponsibilitiesMain point of contact and champion for the Project Management OrganizationLead all aspects of the planning process with leadership, deputies, the I/C, product teams, and EPMO workstream leadsPrepare and lead various EPMO leadership meetings, weekly status calls with workstream leadsWork cross functionally to resolve key issues strategically and efficientlyMaintain tools (Workfront, Jira, PowerPoint decks, Excel spreadsheets, etc.) Administrator for Workfront and JiraOnboard new workstream leads and requestors/deputiesManages large, complex projects/programs (15+ people) to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality Understands the financial profitability of projects - revenue, costs, etc. Must Haves7-10 years experience working as a Project Manager or 5+ years experience working in a corporate, Enterprise Program Management function Bachelor's degree required - Master's degree preferred Proficient using Microsoft productivity tools (Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) Experience with Project and Work Management tools (Jira, Workfront)Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Ability and desire to create order through chaosProven ability to complete projects within scope, budget, and timelineWork collaboratively under pressure and solve problems creativelyNice To HavesDegree in Computer Science, Business or related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) certification Previous consulting experienceStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulAn unshakeable sense of organization Growth mindset to audit and improve upon existing processesWhat We Offer: We offer a competitive base salary, plus a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, generous paid time off, sponsored volunteer opportunities, parking & commuter benefits, a 401K with a company match, plus free access to all of our online programs.
