About the Role:

We are CrowdStrike, a fast-growing security company that protects our wide range of customers from cybersecurity attacks. We're investing in program managers who are energetic, eager to learn, flexible, and capable of managing large scale/complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.

As a Program Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the Ecommerce Product Group whose mission is focused on eliminating friction in every stage of the buying and ownership funnel through new product and platform development, enhancements in the digital go-to-market team and strategy, as well as supporting and innovating multiple means of commerce to support prospects, customers, and partners. Your primary focus will entail driving the scheduling, scoping and execution of partner integrations and enhancements for the Ecommerce teams, working directly with the Engineering Developers, the Product Managers, Marketing Managers, and the Dev Managers in order to ensure timely delivery against the roadmap. You'll work closely across functional teams (UX, Cloud, Sensor) to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.

More specifically, please tell us about ONE project in particular which required your leadership and fortitude to turn the tides of potential disaster. Using an intro paragraph to provide a brief summary of the problem the project was looking to solve and no more than 10 bullet points of "Actions Taken" by you specifically that led to the project's successful outcome.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to the team in a highly collaborative and empathetic environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to discuss tasks with employees in a manner which gives guidance and best practices, but does not dictate implementation.
  • Creating and driving the project schedule, and managing schedule progress; from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies.
  • Collaborating with staff and management of multiple worldwide business units (including subject matter experts, design teams, and technology teams) to clearly identify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals, expectations, and tasks.
  • Tracks the status of project activities and ensures that schedules and priorities are being met.
  • Ensures critical issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated if necessary.
  • Manages daily/weekly project communication and status reporting.
  • Leads Scrum meetings and creates and follows up on meeting minutes/action items.
  • Provide coaching and guidance while collaborating on the development and maintenance of roadmaps.
  • Support 4 or more Scrum/Kanban/Agile teams at one time throughout the life cycle of their initiatives.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies to support the software development life cycle while ensuring collaboration tools are kept current.
  • Coach and mentor teams to continuously improve and evolve processes.
  • Challenge the status quo and strive for excellence.
  • Collaborate with other program managers to continually improve processes and procedures.


Key Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience working in a program/project management capacity for software development.
  • Experience with/exposure to large scale platforms (cloud technologies), complex inter-dependent technologies.
  • Experience with/exposure to Ecommerce platforms and technologies (store fronts, billing, payment processors, analytics)
  • Seasoned team coach that manages and alleviates (instead of running from) persistent obstacles
  • Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework methodology a plus.
  • Experience owning a program/ portfolio of products/features, scoping requirements, planning milestones, and being an active resource for technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must enjoy consensus-driven environments where collaboration, honest and open communications are paramount.
  • Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to bridge the timezone gaps, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness in hours worked to keep teams unblocked
  • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make logical timely decisions.
  • Excel with proactively and independently driving for results in small team environments
  • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
  • Ability to extrapolate context from complex technical conversations, provide teams w/ valuable summations around action items and next steps.
  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience with ALM/SDLC tools such as Jira/Confluence (Atlassian) a plus.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence without positional authority.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Jira (query/ticket creation, board creation and facilitation)
