LastPass is looking for an Engineering Manager, Product Led Growth: 

In this role you will manage the team responsible for developing features and integrate solutions that enhance the product’s appeal to the customer base and contribute to its organic growth. You would help Product Management run experiments that allow for rapid prototyping and testing of multiple product versions, with the objective of finding the optimal version/configuration/setup.

As an Engineering Manager you would: 

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of engineers to deliver initiatives that help drive LastPass’ Product Led Growth strategy
  • Closely liaise with Product Management and other stakeholders in Marketing and the Data Platform organization
  • Coordinate PLG work coming from these stakeholders towards the team and other parts of the Engineering Org
  • Manage individual performance: Set and track goals, provide quality feedback, coach, and develop engineers
  • Oversee the work of the team: Define scope and manage backlog, set priorities in alignment with strategic goals
  • Own delivery of initiatives and manage technical and delivery risks together with your team and other leaders
  • Continuously improve team performance, guide the team through challenges and priority shifts
  • Establish and maintain effective communication between stakeholders and your team
  • Understand customer pain-points, advocate for delivering real customer value

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Relevant experience as a people manager or team leader, specifically when dealing with remote teams, across countries, and in different time zones
  • Proven record of accomplishment of working on products with a high volume of users/customers
  • Strong understanding of engineering and agile methodologies, able to sustain the application of agile principles in the team

It's great, but not required: 

  • Experience in web development with the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Backend experience: developing web applications in PHP or .NET
  • Experience in working with Public Cloud providers, such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience developing Software APIs and integrating SDKs into existing code base
  • Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple teams
  • Experience with SaaS Web Apps such as Pendo, Segment, LaunchDarkly, Sendgrid, or Amplitude
