Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking an ELK Stack Admin/Developer for a remote position. Summary: As part of enterprise data management/data warehouse organization the ELK Stack Admin/Developer will be performing hands-on development and administration of our ELK stack solution. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and administering ELK including implementing data models, storage strategies, ingesting/indexing processes, transforming/normalizing data to common standards, enriching data upon ingest and upon querying. The ELK Stack Admin/Developer will also develop data pipelines to include ETL and streaming data such as log data or tool/sensor data to indexes. Duties:
  • Admin/Developer will design and develop highly scalable ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash and Kibana) stack solutions
  • Install, configure, and tune the ELK stack cluster in an Enterprise environment


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in full life cycle system development and administration in which 3+ years of experience in ELK Stack
  • Elasticsearch clustering, performance optimization, and REST API
  • Ability to Search Query, dashboards, and visualizations using Kibana
  • Should be able to write Kibana API
  • Administration of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience in performing end to end Low level Design, Development, administration, and delivery of ELK/Java solutions
  • Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning
  • Expertise in Linux/UNIX
  • Worked on Spark-Streaming using Scala
  • Good experience working Hadoop Cloudera Distribution
  • Have knowledge on Jenkins and Git tools
  • Experience with NOSQL Databases and Teradata preferred
