The EHS Operations Consultant is responsible for the implementation of EHS processes and performance within aligned sites to ensure business and corporate EHS requirements are met. This role provides coordination with site EHS personnel/focal points and site leadership for the effective implementation of EHS systems, with a strong focus on driving consistent work process adoption and behavioral alignment to EHS expectations. The role partners closely with site leadership, EHS Operations leadership, and EHS resources to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant workplace while sustaining the License to Operate. The consultant supports continuous improvement by identifying gaps, aligning priorities, auditing effectiveness, and connecting sites to broader EHS expertise and solutions. EHS Operations Consultants also lead strategic EHS projects that span the entirety of the GSO network.
Responsibilities – What you will do: How will you help us grow?
Site EHS Support & Program Implementation
Work with Site EHS resources and Site Leadership to implement Corteva EHS work processes, standards, and policies.
Identify gaps in implementation and partner with site teams to develop and execute gap closure plans.
Conduct training and provide clear communication to ensure sustainable implementation of EHS programs.
Ensure compliance tasks are completed to support adherence to internal and external requirements.
Perform regular site visits and assessments to measure conformance to requirements and drive improvement.
Facilitate alignment with EHS Operations Manager, Site EHS, and Site Leadership on priorities and initiatives.
Partner with Regional Production Director to support Safety Community meetings.
Lead and facilitate strategic projects that benefit the broader network beyond the community of sites that are typically supported.
Safety Community & Training
Build strong partnerships with Site EHS and Site Personnel through regular engagement, meetings, and site walkthroughs.
Identify gaps in compliance and implementation and ensure appropriate corrective actions are in place.
Deliver EHS training and support capability building across aligned sites.
Provide coaching and mentorship to Site EHS focal points to strengthen execution and alignment.
Incident Management
Serve as the point of contact for incidents across aligned sites.
Support or conduct investigations aligned with business requirements to prevent recurrence.
Ensure proper reporting requirements are met and support mitigation of injury severity.
Share leveraged learnings to drive prevention across the network.
Auditing & Compliance Assurance
Ensure management system and internal assessments are conducted across aligned sites.
Support internal and external audits and drive continuous improvement in compliance and work process usage.
Provide guidance on industrial hygiene monitoring where needed.
Monitor completion of compliance tasks and ensure timely execution.
Networking and Collaboration
Collaborate with EHS Operations Leadership, EHS resources, and peers to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
Partner with Site Leadership and Safety Communities to align EHS priorities and initiatives.
Leverage personal EHS expertise across the broader GSO EHS organization to support problem-solving and project execution.
Job Qualification
Requirements – Who You Are: What expertise have you grown?
Four-year technical degree in engineering, physical sciences, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
7+ years of experience in production or manufacturing operations
Experience in an agricultural setting preferred.
Knowledge of occupational health & safety and environmental regulations preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and local language.
Strong leadership and attention to detail.
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Ability to teach, coach, and communicate effectively to drive behavior change.

Proficiency with computer systems including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools.
