Our client β an innovative, fast-growing edtech company using AI to transform how learning is assessed β is looking for an EdTech Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in South Africa to help grow their presence in the US market.
This is a great opportunity for someone who's confident, proactive, and excited about making an impact in the world of tech and education.
What you'll be doing:
β
Finding and qualifying potential leads in the U.S. (think schools, universities, edtech companies)
β
Doing outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) to get conversations started
β
Booking meetings for the sales team and helping fill the pipeline
β
Working closely with marketing to fine-tune messaging and campaigns
β
Keeping things organized in the CRM and reporting on progress
Requirements
What we're looking for:
β¨ Based in South Africa
β¨ Strong English skills (written & verbal)
β¨ Some experience in B2B sales, lead gen, or SDR work β bonus points for SaaS or edtech
β¨ Comfortable reaching out cold and building rapport quickly
β¨ Driven, independent, and up for the challenge
β¨ Familiar with tools like HubSpot or Salesforce? Even better!
