Job Description

We are currently looking to fill in a new role: eProcurement Support Specialist

LOCATION:

Work location is flexible if approved by Avnet, except, role may not be performed remotely from Colorado

YOUR TASKS

Provide 1st level support to external customers and internal regional staff with any eProcurement issues, gather initial requirements from new customers and provide training on all solutions. These include:

XML/EDI integration (purchase orders, order confirmations and invoices)
Punchout and static catalogues (text file data)
API
Our internal web tool, iBuy
Collaborate with B2B IT team, other IT teams, internal sales and directly with the customer in order to deliver support and resolution.
Work with various 3rd party systems, according to the customer and business needs (i.e. Ariba, SAP, Oracle, Coupa etc) to troubleshoot issues
Proactively input into areas for change to enhance process efficiencies and customer service including process documentation maintenance and update.
Working effectively with a diverse set of customers (internal and external), with different sets of cultures and communication skills

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

Experience in an eCommerce operations or IT environment providing support and training
Knowledge of eProcurement solutions (Ariba, SAP, Oracle, Coupa etc) and associated electronic order/invoice integration protocols (cXML, XML, EDI) and the messages (Order, Confirmation, ASN, Invoice) and communication methods (AS2, HTTPS, VAN) is desirable
Knowledge of punch out and how it works.
Very good communication skills on all levels + presentation skills (internal and external)
Ability to handle multiple issue at one time, calmly and most importantly, thoroughly with an eye to how these can be reduced to improve efficiency
Experience of delivering training tailored to your audience.

Have a proactive input into how we do things.

Work Experience:

Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
