Then this job might be a good fit for you! We are looking for a talented person to join our team as an E-Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of invoice submissions via e-billing and resolving e-billing issues for the law firm's e-billed clients.This position has the option to be 100% remote and is available in additional locations.Primary Job Responsibilities:Prepare LEDES files for submission to clients via web-based e-billing systems or via email. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced errors.Assist with e-billing for some of the firm's more complex clients. Review final invoices for accuracy and data integrity, ensuring invoices are in compliance with client's billing guidelines. Ensure that invoices have proper approvals consistent with the firm's policies and procedures.Monitor invoice validations, approvals, reductions and rejections. Research and resolve reduced and rejected invoices. Initiate corrective measures and communicate with billing attorneys, staff members, and clients as appropriate.Work with clients and third-party vendors to implement new and existing clients for e-billing.Provide technical support and customer service to billing attorneys and staff members regarding e-billing implementation processes, submissions, and compliance with client's billing guidelines.Specific Skills Required:Knowledge and experience of a variety of e-billing systems (Legal Tracker, TyMetrix, Collaborati, CounselGO, etc.). Intermediate Excel required. Ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing. Data oriented with strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and initiative. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of firm personnel.Specific Skills Preferred:Knowledge and experience with the eBillingHub is a plus. Knowledge and experience of standard accounting and billing procedures, and automated accounting software like Elite 3E is a plus.Education and Experience:Requires an AA degree or 3 years' experience with legal e-billing.
