Management to Senior Vice President level Project Developers, Utility-scale Renewables Locations: FULLY REMOTE OR Houston, TX OR San Francisco, CA (Relocation Assistance available) A g rowing renewable energy venture focused on the development and execution of dynamic utility-scale projects (10+ projects around 2.3GW) is looking grow their Project Development and Origination Teams. Other perks included a competitive base salary, open PTO policy, flex work hours, benefits stipend, the opportunity to work with a transparent Executive Leadership Team..and more.JOB SUMMARIES: Head of Development / Development Director (VP - Senior VP level) * Candidates are usually in Vice President of Development, Head of Development, Senior Vice President of Development, or Chief Development Officer positions* -Project Development strategic leadership role that will be responsible for maximizing/upscaling internal and external resources across the organization in the delivery greenfield utility-scale renewable energy projects. -Has final decision making authority on complex project development initiatives across the entire portfolio.-Minimum of 10+ years a leading cross-functional project development teams-Taken roughly 10 greenfield utility-scale renewable energy or transmission projects to NTP-Successfully lead permitting initiatives for an energy storage/battery storage project that reached NTP/COD-Advises and develops commercial negotiation strategies for PPAs, interconnection / ISO, and other related agreements US Regional Lead Project Developer (Director-VP level) -Regional Lead Developer for greenfield utility-scale renewables projects covering 2-3 power markets across the US-Creating regional project development strategy and tactics, and bringing a project through key milestones.-Responsible for bringing greenfield development assets from site origination, permitting, interconnection, and revenue contract, through project NTP.-Acts as the frontline commercial negotiator for PPAs, interconnection / ISO, and other related agreements-Oversight of Mid-Sr. Development teams and correspondence with legal counsel complex negotiations Sr. Project Developer (Management to Director level) -Acquires project sites for utility-scale renewable projects and brings them through the diligence process-Works with markets and origination team to identify and quantify opportunities, then owning responsibility for RFP submittal for utility-scale solar renewable projects-Negotiates terms and conditions of power purchase agreements, permitting documents, interconnection or other ISO agreements-Manages the project development pipeline and executes on complex milestone deliverables-Leads project management initiatives dealing with nuanced sites, permits, and technology issues-Ensures all projects/deals continue to meet or exceed financial hurdles and manages the financing of each new renewables development deal Associate Project Developer (Mid Level) -Identify, research, prospect, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects through collaborative community efforts with land-owners -Work on all initiatives related to site acquisition and development of utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects including initiating as well as responding to RFPs (request for proposals)-Negotiate with landowners on site control agreements for utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects-Support development activities for both new and on-going utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects in the company's portfolio with an emphasis on project origination, financing, land development, permitting, and environmental compliance General Position Qualifications: Utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, battery storage, LNG, and/or natural gas experience working with IPPs / Developers / Owners Well versed in project siting, permitting, prospecting, and other due diligence initiatives for utility-scale renewables (solar, wind, battery storage) Ability to independently act as Project Manager or support Project Management activities for utility-scale renewables (solar, wind, battery storage) MUST have a breadth of hands-on experience with real estate/Land transactions & contracts for projects with developers in the renewables or energy storage space Solid understanding of the RFP / RFI process as it relates to project development initiatives Any exposure or project experience with energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage is a HUGE PLUS Sr-VP Candidates must have: Experience taking multiple grid-connected utility-scale renewable energy projects from greenfield site origination through NTP Experience completing all of the following agreement types: Site lease or purchase agreements, Site Plan and Building Permit approvals, Interconnection agreements, Power purchase or tolling agreements, and MIPA / PSA for project disposition / acquisition
