What You ll Do
The Global Operations Team is looking for a Director, Next-Gen Supply and Demand Planning with proven leadership skills to develop and implement breakthrough end-to-end Supply Chain Planning projects across the entire SBD enterprise. With a demonstrated working knowledge of critical operational processes and systems, this individual must successfully guide business teams and implementation partners to adopt standard processes and best practices to deliver a world-class planning process and solution. These platforms will both bring a new analytics capability and replace existing systems and processes across S&OP, Demand, Supply, Inventory and Inbound/Outbound Visibility (i.e. Control Tower). This role will report into the VP of Integrated Business Planning and have a minimum of 2 to 3 direct reports. You ll get to:
  • Liaise between Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution, Procurement, Finance, IT and Sales Teams to ensure Process and Solution Excellence in planning
  • Work closely with the IBP project team to Ensure Leading Practices between Demand and Supply Planning are Implemented
  • Lead Change Management activities, ensuring functional leaders are driving results
  • Expedite key business decisions and specific issue resolution as needed
  • Facilitate or coordinate key internal communications as needed
  • Bridge any cross-functional gaps to ensure end-to-end process integrity
  • Coordinate the participation of individuals in multiple locations and disciplines and influence employee resources to maximize results.

  • BA/BS Degree required
  • MBA or PMI Certification Preferred
  • 7-10 years of related work experience in Demand and Supply Planning concepts, process, and best practices required
  • Ability to lead employees and build high performance work teams, without formal authority
  • Experience in SAP systems
  • System integration, data synchronization, and change management project experience
  • Proven track record of leading multi-million dollar projects with corporation wide visibility including Acquisition, Integration, Implementation and Upgrade projects.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High level of enthusiasm and a passion for excellence
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, and ability to rely on experience to accomplish goals
