th Street,Denver,Colorado,80202,United States of AmericaGENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:An IT Director- Product Management is responsible for optimizing business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology, building and sustaining a process-managed IT organization. They focus on the human, organizational and value stream aspects of business processes and their transformation.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Position has full supervisory responsibility for recruitment, hiring, retention, performance development, performance management, teammate relations, salary adjustments, and termination of direct reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.Represents the needs of all revenue/reimbursement departments and understands the cost and impact of those needs in creating, implementing and adjusting business plans and technology solutions.Collaborate with business partners to understand long and short term business plan for all business lines, and where technology can be leveraged to drive better business results. Define product strategy and roadmap.Create cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations for new products and process initiatives.Provide the expertise and where required work with business users to gather and document requirements, model current/future business processes and organization changes to realize benefits, and define quantifiable metrics to help track value realized over timeIdentify new product opportunities and drive solutionsPrioritize and force rank the feature list based on committed items, new customer requests, implementation requests, and government/compliance requirementsOutline the product strategy and direction for individual products as well as entire revenue cycle system. Make product and functionality tradeoff decisions across the entire revenue cycle systemMaintain a holistic view of the entire revenue operations product line, and how each product fits within the continuumResponsible for ensuring integration of all technology work performed across various business units. Responsible for ensuring that business planning and purpose is considered in all key decisionsLead customer product advisory boards and visit with end users to solicit ongoing feedback on prioritization of product features and functionsEnsure timely communications to customers about current and future products, and evangelize product linesEnsure end user feedback is sought after and accurately reflected in prioritization of product features and functionsAssists in the cascading of plans to the various divisions/departments.Lead/grow/mentor team of software Product Managers.Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunitiesBe an expert with respect to the alternative products and solutions available in the industryOwn the user experience for the end-to-end product suiteQUALIFICATIONS: Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred10+ years of relevant experience in IT and/or Healthcare Industry5+ years as a Product Manager/Director, Business Consultant or similar experience on application development projectsExperience with analytic tools with in the healthcare environment preferred3 years supervising professional staffStrong experience in developing, launching, and managing software products. Good understanding of the Software Development Cycle.Strong business process analysis and data analysis skills. Thorough understanding of the Requirements Management process.Experience in writing User Requirements, Use Cases, Functional Specifications, User Documentation, Test Plans, etc.Experience creating and delivering innovative new products to the market or an internal customer baseExperience in creating business cases, cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations, and presenting and defending the results to senior managementHealthcare Revenue Cycle knowledge and experience required.
