OVERVIEW:

The Global Presales Director is a key member of the Skillsoft Global Knowledge Product and Partnership team and plays a critical role in driving business development. This position is responsible for providing industry expertise, product knowledge, and solution demos to prospective customers from C-Level to end-users. The Director leads a global team and collaborates closely with prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue. Key responsibilities include qualifying opportunities, answering RFIs and RFPs, preparing and delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and executing customer solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present the value of the Skillsoft Global Knowledge solutions to various audiences.
  • Contribute to the sales team by qualifying leads and answering RFIs and RFPs.
  • Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Lead team strategy and vision globally, including driving commercial metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement in RFP effectiveness, including tracking to baseline objectives and success metrics
  • Execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to ensure customer success and provide proactive support.
  • Provide business and product expertise and solution blueprints.
  • Drive the pre-sales phase by introducing Global Knowledge solutions and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date materials such as presentations and demonstrations.
  • Support Global Knowledge staff at industry events and customer seminars.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales related to enterprise corporate institutions.
  • Experience in creating and selling solutions to the training and educational field.
  • Strong experience leading a global Pre-Sales team or similar roles.
  • Experience in selecting and implementing Educational Technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Strong business knowledge and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to various audience levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
