SCOPE: In this role you will lead and grow a team built to assess opportunities, define technologies and services used anddeliver measurable results. You will have overall responsibility for helping clients solve their strategic business objectives through technology-led transformational thinking. You will be responsible for creating the automation COE which will define theplatforms / tools necessary to identify potential opportunities and translate those to positive outcomes. You will also be responsible for defining the API strategy and implementing those to cater to the digital transformation initiative. Responsibilities Provide technical leadershipto the team. Validate the quality of technology deployed and is empowered to intervene and provide direction when technical standards fall short. Excellent communication skills including an ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing or verbally. Must also be an attentive and careful listener and respond appropriately to others. Lead a culture of innovation and experimentation, support full software development lifecycle that incorporates the best of technology approaches and delivery methodologies Lead the technology strategy, prioritizing technology initiatives and overseeing the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies with an ability to influence technology and business leadership. Contribute to and manages the annual budget -- provides and articulates resource requirements (financial, technical, and human resource). Engage with developers in day to day activities and helping in review of design, coding and the SDLC tasks. Stepping into code where and if needed and be a hands-on leader. Ensure on time product releases that are of high quality, enabling the core vision of next generation card processing systems compliant with regulatory requirements. Lead a team in an environment which includes core modern automation frameworks and complex transaction processing systems leveraging a broad set of technology stacks Build and Manage Platform for Enterprise Intelligent Automation Develop standards for common automation framework and/or adhere to existing standards, policies, processes, procedures, governance, compliance and security standards Manage design of processes around automation and ensure security and controls standards are established and followed Lead the solution design for automation including robotic process automation, workflow automation, process miningetc. Responsible for the planning and executing of strategic intelligent automation initiatives Maintain high levels of technical knowledge through ongoing research and development activities. May sponsor small technology task forces to research and potentially develop new technologies or practices Build and maintain trusting partnerships with business and technology leaders. Work with business and technology executives to proactively understand demand and provide architecture guidance needed for road mapping and planning. Qualifications Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in IT management, leading cross functional teams. Solid understanding of Architectural Design Patterns and Domain Driven Design. Considerable experience implementing and using lean/agile development practices. Strong software engineering and software architecture skills. Experience with Cloud Based Solutions/Technologies (AWS, Google, Azure). Implementation of modern domain driven design patterns, including micro-services and containers, disposable, reactive, stateless and distributed patterns. Experience with open source technologies including, but not limited to, NodeJS, React, Python, Flutter, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle and DynamoDB database(s). Strong hands-on experience with performance and scalability management of Kubernetes Containers, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Kafka, SpringBoot, Java and Python based applications. Expert level knowledge in Problem identification and triaging of complex multi-tier systems through the use of Profilers, APM solutions and other custom solutions.
