We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing a high-performing sales team, and building lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
The Director of Sales will collaborate closely with executive leadership, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure consistent growth across all market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and accountability
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching, and conduct performance reviews for all sales team members
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team and individual performance
Drive the sales forecasting process and provide accurate revenue projections to executive leadership
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market segments, and strategic partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, enterprise clients, and channel partners
Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing
Develop and manage strategic account plans for top-tier clients
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Operations & Process
Optimize the sales process, pipeline management, and CRM utilization to improve efficiency and conversion rates
Collaborate with marketing to develop effective lead generation programs and sales enablement materials
Work with the product and engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence product roadmap
Manage the sales budget, including compensation plans, tools, and team resources
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
Qualifications
Required
7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth
Experience managing and scaling high-performing sales teams
Strong skills in strategic planning, forecasting, and data-driven decision making
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent) and sales analytics tools
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree
Experience in SaaS, technology, or B2B enterprise sales
Established network within the industry
Experience with international or multi-regional sales operations
