Responsibilities:
  • Manage the human resources function for a Series B growth-stage company, working with the leadership team to identify, define and implement human resource programs that address the needs of the organization
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive remote work environment and strengthen our culture over time
  • Further develop, codify, and own all employee lifecycle processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, performance management, etc.) to ensure the company retains great talent
  • Research, develop and implement competitive compensation (including leveling), benefits, performance management and appraisal, and employee incentive programs
  • Oversee the communication of human resource policies, procedures, and practices throughout the organization to ensure consistency and legal compliance
  • Design and lead the performance review process to drive a culture of feedback and learning
  • Accelerate and improve employee experience excellence, acting as an advocate for employees to ensure that their perspectives are heard and considered
  • Establish scalable learning and development solutions, leveraging current programs to help all associates grow, empower managers to be better leaders, and prepare high-potential employees for management roles
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for employee performance, retention, engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Stay informed of employment laws, compliance, benefits, insurance, safety, and other rules and regulations
  • Continue to develop a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture where employees can do their best work, whether in the office or remote
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources positions, including experience in high-growth companies and leading (ideally) distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred; PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Broad knowledge and experience in human resources best practices, employment law, compensation and benefits, organizational development, employee relations, and training and development
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing scalable human resource solutions with a proven ability to design and implement strategies that drive business results
  • Ability to craft a great employee experience while balancing the needs of employees with those of the business
  • Ability to communicate complicated processes, programs, and company priorities clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and coaching skills with the ability to comfortably handle difficult conversations
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and constantly evolving remote work environment
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • Ability to travel ~10% of the time
