My client, a fast-growing and well-financed Solar Developer, is currently looking to hire a Chief Engineer to oversee their engineering projects with C&I Solar.

Responsible for leading the full design and engineering process, they will lead the operational design and are part of every job that is bid for, developed, and installed. This role fills a crucial part of the operations team and will, in time, have a number of designers, engineers, and the construction team reporting to them.

Essential:

• Circa.10 years Electrical engineering experience, including design and performance engineering
• Experience or some oversight of Solar and PV projects
• Full responsibility for building and designing projects
• Experience in the field, supervising project builds - need to be able to outline what results were and demonstrable ability to see projects through to close
• Clear ability to identify value engineering and able to build cost-effective systems
• Proficient technically with PVsyst and Helioscope
• Clear ability and experience in leading a team and/or function
• Hands-on capability

• Field experience
• Management capability
• PE Licence
