Summary of Position:

The Director of Business Development will seek out new business opportunities for the Nexa and Strike Healthcare business units. By developing a pipeline of enterprise-wide companies that offer franchising-based businesses. 

Additionally, will be responsible for managing, engaging and growing new and existing partnerships. The successful candidate will have deep experience with managing and growing alliance partnerships where success is measured by lead volume delivered and revenue generated from partners. The Director of Business Development will work cross-functionally with internal teams: marketing, sales, and technology in evangelizing, and onboarding new partnerships. 

This role reports to the VP of Sales & Partnerships. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Quickly gain a thorough understanding of Nexa’s product offerings and the value Nexa can provide to small and medium-sized businesses in the Home Services, Professional Services, and Healthcare 
  • Manage and grow Nexa’s and Strike Healthcare's strategic partnership relationships 
  • Develop and expand partnership relationships with the goal of driving new leads to grow revenue 
  • Ensure existing and future partners reach full revenue potential 
  • Keep Nexa partners highly engaged in promoting and referring Nexa & Strike Healthcare 
  • Conduct Webinars, attend conferences, conduct trainings for our partners’ sales teams 
  • Develop and execute on account plans, setting quarterly goals and implementing incentives for top performing partners 
  • Be the point person for Nexa’s and Strike Healthcare’s partners and work with them to ensure they have everything they need to be successful in promoting Nexa such as resolving roadblocks, driving sales, providing reporting, marketing materials, etc. 
  • Conduct in-person meetings either monthly, quarterly, annually or as warranted to continue to build our brand and deepen our partnership relationships 
  • Assist with the coordination of trade show events that involve our partners 
  • Develop and maintain a target account list of franchising authorities that support Nexa’s and Strike Healthcare’s value proposition. 


  • 5+ years of account management experience with a track record of growing sales via the accounts you’ve managed 
  • Sales and/or Marketing experience within a fast-growing, SMB focused, services organization 
  • High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high-level of accuracy 
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills 
  • Team player and positive attitude, eager to do more and help out, views challenging situations as opportunities 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision 
  • Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up 
  • Salesforce proficiency 
  • Strong initiative and ability to think creatively, coupled with excellent presentation skills 
  • Ability to travel frequently in U.S. and potentially abroad
