Job Description

Serve as primary contact and liaison among multiple health plans and Information Technology leaders to ensure Information Technology projects meet health plan objectives
Collaborate with health plan stakeholders to understand existing processes, systems, and hardware. Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog
Evaluate IT developments and evolving business requirements to recommend system alternatives and/or enhancements
Prioritize enhancement requests across 6-8 health plans
Communicate status of developments and product roadmaps to health plan stakeholders
Write policies to ensure consistent system review process
Lead and direct the work of IT managers, project managers, and business system analysts
Travel to health plans as required - 10% travel required

Position Purpose:Responsible for the planning and implementation of technology solutions for health plans, acting as a liaison between multiple health plans and the Information Technology departments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience. 8+ years of project management experience of complex, multi-year, and multi-phase healthcare or Information Technology implementation and integration projects. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff. Experience in health plan operations preferred.
