Job Description

Position is remote. Responsibilities include:

Practice Management:

  • Set and achieve the budget and goals of the practice (with overall accountability)
  • Manage the practice's profitability
  • Grow the sales and delivery teams to expand our ability to qualify and drive sales opportunities including recruitment, interviewing, hiring and firing of talent
  • Provide constructive feedback and effective support of the practice team
  • Maintain business applications partner relationships at the executive level
  • Assist the leaders at the company in setting budget and revenue goals for cross sales & introductions to their clients
  • Closely manage AR and WIP and ensure collections on accounts
  • Lead practice management meetings
  • Communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences
  • Proactively seek information, challenge norms and drive efficiency
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of status, actions, risks and drive to resolution

Sales & Client Management:

  • Source leads externally (from your network)
  • Partner with the company's leaders to identify, qualify and close leads from company's client base
  • Meet with clients at the C-level on a quarterly basis for information gathering and feedback on practice performance
  • Build channel referral partnerships with other partner CPA firms and other associations as applicable to drive referrals
  • Manage team in scoping efforts
  • Deeply understand Business Application (ERP, CRM, Analytics) sales, win themes, and success measures of a good implementation


  • Define go-to-market solutions and package offerings with other complimentary ones; create supporting collateral
  • Align with industry and segment leadership to drive development and roll out of solutions tailored accordingly
  • Run webinars and digital campaigns in partnership with ERP platforms to recruit new clients
  • Develop Learning and Development training to educate others at the company and create training materials to support the practice


  • Participate in internal meetings, presentations, reporting, initiatives
  • Adhere to the company's established processes and procedures

Qualifications Required:

  • 20 years of experience in sales, operations, customer success and management of business applications
  • Experience selling and implementing a Top 10 ERP or CRM Business Application preferably NetSuite or Infor
  • Strong experience with and understanding of all aspects of the Business Applications solution function and related commercially available software packages
  • Book of client companies with no non-compete such that you can call on the leads
  • Attention to detail / ability to manage a wide book of clients
  • Experience in management of a business unit
  • Experience in a professional services firm preferred
