Regis is looking for an experienced, results-driven Marketing Director responsible for brand strategy & performance across the female-focused brand portfolio-SmartStyle, Cost Cutters & First Choice Haircutters. This highly-visible leadership role reports to the Head of Marketing for Regis and will have strong presence across the Regis leadership team and with franchisee advisory councils. The marketing leader will lead a team of 3 to drive compelling brand strategy and annual marketing plans that identify brand differentiators and growth audiences and activate them through paid, owned and earned initiatives that increase new customer traffic and customer retention. Core partner teams include Media Strategy & Marketing Effectiveness, Digital Marketing, Local Marketing, Business Analytics & Salon Operations.
Develop compelling brand strategies & programming that deliver on key business and marketing KPIs, including increased perception, consideration, and traffic
Lead consumer and recruitment marketing strategies and plans, including integrated campaigns, promotional strategy and creative production
Evolve and optimize each brand's Customer Lifecycle Strategy utilizing all available platforms (including within Cost Cutters Loyalty Program)- with emphasis on retention, lifetime value & owned channel engagement (channel implementation led by a partner team)
Develop/evolve a content strategy across the customer journey, which could include mix of PR, social, influencer, website/app, in-store and events
Regularly analyze business performance and identify needs to adjust, add or delete marketing plans in order to produce the best business outcomes.
Oversee the development of campaign deliverables
Ensure brand positioning, visual identity and end-to-end customer experience is consistent and seamless
Evaluate and, when appropriate, introduce partnership strategy, including any brand-wide implementation
Successfully focus, coach and manage a team
Fiscal management of marketing budget
Evangelize and represent the brands effectively with internal, external and franchisee constituents
Bachelor's Degree required
10+ yrs experience building compelling brands through consumer understanding, strategy development, creating and executing brand marketing plans and innovating/improving upon the holistic customer journey
Right brain/left brain thinker who is energized by strategic, analytical and creative activities
Results and outcome driven. Track record of success in executing marketing plans and consumer campaigns within a complex organization or industry.
Creative production and campaign development experience is critical
Persuasive storyteller and with strong communication skills
Highly relational; collaborates well and manages effectively through conflict
Demonstrated ability to lead, focus, manage, coach and inspire a team
Some franchise experience is ideal
