Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager will help in advancing our digital strategy, plans and proof points within our pet health business. Together with the global marketing team, affiliate marketing teams, supporting teams (such as IT), and external vendors, they will partner on the execution of all aspects of a successful digital strategy: campaign planning, campaign optimization, playbook creation, content creation, success measurement. Ideal candidates will consider themselves true digital natives, have experience in a number of digital marketing channels and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this job is to:
  • Coordinate the creation of digital marketing playbooks to educate and upskill our marketing organization (playbook content creation, IT development)
  • Collaborate with brand leaders and channel experts across the company to support the digital marketing strategies and tactics required to grow our brands
  • Understand brand objectives and oversee the execution of digital marketing tactical plans to reach and engage target audiences through digital channels
  • Support the successful management and optimization of PPC campaigns (campaign structure, ad creation, performance and budget monitoring)
  • Perform keyword and content research, competitor analysis, website audits
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Manage the creation of engaging and consistent content
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners (create briefings, hold status calls, report project status reports)
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns
  • Perform market assessments - drawing upon existing insight and collating additional information to establish a deep understanding of the digital pet health market


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of proven work experience in digital marketing (agency or corporate) including 2+ digital areas from Social, PPC, Programmatic, SEO, Content, Media, Creative, eCommerce
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.


Additional Skills & Preferences:
  • Passionate about digital marketing and digital customer experience
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Preferable experience: Pharma, Healthcare, CPG, Retail
  • Experience in developing digital campaigns and content to drive awareness and acquisition
  • Experience or certifications in platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads/Business Manager, content management systems, SEO tools is beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability work effectively and collaboratively with various partners (internal and external) and to promote effective collaboration between them to deliver tactics including websites, search, paid media, content, ecommerce, and social channels
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Effective analytical & problem-solving capabilities
  • Test and learn mindset using data and intuition to continuously adapt and optimize
  • Embracing a culture of continuous business improvement and self-development


Additional Information:
  • Location: preference at Elanco's corporate headquarters in Greenfield, IN although will consider a remote worker with ability to travel to Greenfield as needed.
  • Travel: Up to 15% domestic and international
