We’re currently looking for a special person to join our marketing team to help with digital marketing. In an ideal world, the ideal candidate would have an affinity for SEO, PPC, WordPress, email systems, and analytics. As you probably know, SEO and PPC work best when supporting each other synergistically, with content marketing feeding SEO, and emails being one way content is distributed, it’s all connected.

We believe that when you can get SEO, PPC and content working together, you will often be able to drive results that are greater than their component parts.

What you’ll be doing — and why it’s an exciting opportunity.

  • At Reliant, you’ll be tasked with figuring out how to grow our business by getting high quality leads to feed sales.
  • Everyday our goal is to be the most innovative company in our market, quite frankly we need your help to make it happen.
  • There are a lot of products and SKUs to learn, and it’s hard for a lot of folks to figure out what is actually driving profitable customers.
  • Our paid search campaign is full of campaigns and ad groups that need constant analysis and tweaking.
  • For you – this is part of the game.
  • You’ll have to figure stuff out, make decisions and be accountable.
  • It can be scary at times – but the trade-off is making a real difference and seeing your decisions come to life to impact the business.

A few things we know must be done:

  • Improve the quality and quantity of conversions from paid search
  • Improve the quality and quantity of conversions from SEO
  • Constantly review, study and find opportunities to pursue via Google Analytics, SEMrush and other tools
  • Lend a hand in digital marketing when other campaigns, priorities or teammates need you

If you like challenges, this will be a good one.

As mentioned, we offer a lot of products to our customers. There are several manufacturers, each with their own product lines, each with their own sets of SKUs. Optimizing for all of these terms and SKUs is tough. For the wrong person it’s overwhelming, for the right person it’s an incredible riddle.

You’ll have to learn or know a lot of information (quickly) to be successful:

  • SEM and SEO best practices & techniques that yield results + some coding skills (HTML)
  • Project management, working alone and in teams and mentoring others
  • The products we sell: 8 product lines, 15+ product lines, 100s of SKUs
  • Communicating complex subjects in a way that’s easy to understand
  • Our systems: WordPress, Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Google Ads (AdWords), SEMrush
  • Our market & the psychology of our customers
  • Writing persuasively
  • Web marketing

We’re looking for a brilliant technical mind to join our internet marketing team. We’re growing fast, and need someone who can add value and be a positive force for our team and culture.

If you get overwhelmed and are easily frazzled, this is not a position for you. We wish it could support all personality types, but it can’t. You have to have the chops and will to succeed, it will take a lot of work.

We’ve been supporting remote work for some time. You’ll have the opportunity to work from home as well as from our campus on the Westside of Atlanta (near Howell Mill and Chattahoochee) in Alton Brown’s former production studio, but we won’t be restricted by location. In fact we’re experts at working remotely, so wherever in the US you’re based, this could be the role for you.

Salary is dependent on experience. We firmly believe that one great mind is better than one hundred mediocre ones, so we’re happy to pay the best rates for the best people.
