We are seeking a Digital Account Director to join our diverse tribe of creatives, brand strategists, technologists, problem-solvers, colorists, listeners, coaches, farmers, and musicians.
The Digital Account Director will be responsible for building close relationships with senior-level client contacts, keeping projects on budget and schedule, and pivoting daily between account and project management tasks that require charm and organization.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Assumes day-to-day ownership of individual projects and workflow in addition to building a relationship with Yalo’s clients
- Owns assigned digital projects and engagements from start to finish
- Deep experience with the DBTL and UX/UI processes, SEO, SEM, and eCommerce
- Able to have difficult conversations early and often with clients to ensure work is on brief and hits project and budget timelines and objectives
- Understands the client’s and agency’s vision and works closely to determine the best holistic approach to each engagement
- Keeps a pulse on the client’s industry and trends to determine how best Yalo can grow the partnership
- Anticipate resource needs
- Manages scope of work (including budget forecasting and burn reports)
- Develops and manages project timelines and determines how to deliver against each client agreement
- Understands deliverables and services and takes accountability for the quality and output of the work
- Proactively identifies and solves all problems with internal team members and clients
- Maintains a healthy, professional, working relationship with all clients and coworkers
- Accepts and prioritizes delegated assignments from senior staff
- Responsible for scheduling and leading all external and internal calls for the accounts
- Owns and maintains client-facing status documents to show the progress on all deliverables (in some cases additional support will be provided to keep updated)
- Builds first-draft presentations for assigned projects
- Demonstrates a high degree of client engagement and interaction around current projects and future marketing initiatives
- Actively seeks opportunities for organic digital account growth and shares client’s business updates with leadership
- Is a good steward of the client’s budget and the internal team’s time to spend on each scope of work
- Support efforts around editing or drafting new proposals and/or contracts on an as-needed basis
- Develop creative briefs with the client's approval to kick off internal team members on each new project
- Responsible for keeping team members informed of project milestones, delays, and client feedback/input that impacts project scope
- Cross-check and proof all deliverables and documentation before sharing with the client to ensure the artwork and information meets the client and Yalo's expectations in terms of the requirements and quality

Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years working as an employee of an Advertising or Marketing Agency
- Be a team player with a client-first attitude
- Take a positive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Possess a strong competency in written and verbal communication and confidence in leading meetings
- Have a firm understanding of Yalo’s product offerings and capabilities
- Contribute insight, feedback, and probing questions during internal meetings
- Maintain a healthy ‘storm the beach’ attitude, paired with a sense of humor
