DevOps Lead will be responsible for the CI/CD of multiple eCommerce Applications along with managing GitHub repositories, performing code reviews, troubleshooting, and managing quality control. The DevOps Lead will assist in troubleshooting build and deploy issues by collaborating with the development teams. Experience in code development - Preferably Java is required, as this will promote a thorough understanding of the code and the ability to identify areas of improvement. The Lead will work closely with the Manager of Operations and Devops to build, manage and automate our AWS infrastructure. This position entails working in an agile environment with a high performing team and quickly respond to dynamic requirements. Responsibilities: Participate in creating design and development standards for the team Become Subject Matter Expert in eCommerce Release merge and deployment process Perform unit and integration testing on DevOps processes Create the required CI/CD pipelines & Provide expertise on DevOps practices and procedures Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems Maintain and update documentation related to merge/deploys and technical processes following standards that are set by the team Participate in technical walkthroughs and code reviews Migrate complex, high-risk solutions into the production environment Keep-up with emerging technologies and frameworks Performing code reviews and managing quality control Maintain and administer GitHub Organization Qualifications: 3-5 years previous experience developing and supporting Jenkins pipelines, shared libraries, Jenkins plug-ins for continuous integration and continuous deployment/delivery and related tools that come with developing this framework. 3-5 years previous with Github admin and branching strategies. At least 2-3 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3) Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements Expertise using Chef for configuration management Experience with Docker, GitHub, Github Action, Jenkins, and deploying applications on AWS Ability to learn/use a wide variety of technologies and tools Strong bias for action and ownership Base Pay: $130,000 - 145,000 (Final salary shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications)
