We do that by combining great technology with great people - and we're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.What we're looking for:You're a highly motivated DevOps Engineer who will help build a modern infrastructurefor building, deploying, and monitoring high-volume consumer-facing web applications, along with internal tools and systems. You should be passionate about engineering and operations (you read the Netflix and Airbnb engineering blogs with your morning coffee, and you have a copy of Google's Site Reliability Engineering book on your bedside table). You excel at writing code to automate everything.What you'll do:You'll work on transitioning a good chunk of our infrastructure to AWS, helping us move to a container-based service architecture, and supporting the "Big Data" infrastructure used by our Data Science team.Some of your responsibilities include:Create and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operationsHelp resolve issues in production, test, and dev environmentsTest our systems and processesPlay a critical role in building systems to:Manage and automate serversMove a majority of our infrastructure into AWS over the next six monthsHelp the development team with tools and services to enhance productivitySkills, accomplishments, & interests you should have:5+ years of experience working in a Software Engineering/DevOps role5+ years of experience working with UNIX/Linux systems administration5+ years of experience working with Docker & Kubernetes5+ years of experience working with AWS (ECS, Fargate, EC2, MSK, RDS etc.)5+ years of experience with IaaC (Infrastructure as Code) - ideally Cloudformation/Terraform3+ years of writing code in Python, GoLangBS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical disciplineExperience working with configuration management tools, Ansible/SaltDesign and developcontinuous CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab, BitbucketSolid communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to iterate quickly in an agile development processAbility to learn new technologies and evaluate multiple technologies to solve a problemAbility to work in a highly collaborative environmentThis position can be performed anywhere except Colorado.Nice to haves:AWS skills - a big part of the plan for the next six months is to move more of our services into AWS.Skill with resource managers, e.g. Kubernetes, AWS ECS/Fargate, etc.Experience with Docker-this is a big part of how we're going to be able to scale services and give engineers the tools they need to produce and deploy them.Experience with distributed messaging systems, e.g. KafkaSkill with "Big Data" tools, e.g. Spark, Hive, HDFSSupported developments teams using multiple difference languages (Java, Python, Scala, GoLang, JavaScript etc.)#LI-KD1#LI-Remote About UsRealogy Holdings Corp.(NYSE: RLGY) is the leading and most integrated provider of U.S. residential real estate services, encompassing franchise, brokerage, and title and settlement businesses as well as a mortgage joint venture.
