Learn more at or visit Boomi Careers.About the position: Productivity Engineering organization's mission is to enable Boomi's entire Software Engineering and Development community by engineering solutions to common needs. The Senior Manager (DevOps) position, in particular will oversee a team of DevOps engineers in this mission, collaborate with the rest of the engineering organization to build tools, automation and frameworks implemented on the best of the breed cloud Infrastructure. You will: • Participate in long-range planning and development of operational goals and engineering specifications• Contribute to the modification, development and implementation of company practices and policies that affect subordinate employees• Create schedules and work plans and be accountable for managing a budget• Provide innovative solutions to complex problems and communicate progress toward project/program goals• Liaise with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs Responsibilities Lead a team of highly skilled DevOps engineers, manage day-to-day Operations, help with planning and prioritization efforts in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. Mentor, monitor, motivate and coach the team members in both technical aspects as well as career pathing efforts. Ensure the availability and resiliency of platforms, tools, critical infrastructure in support of the Development community. Working with Cross-Functional teams and Architects, strategize, plan and execute on initiatives that address common needs of multiple software Engineering organizations, own shared infrastructure, functions and services' life cycle management. Assure automation, velocity and quality in all aspects of CICD targeted to cloud platforms, associated technical operations in managing the pipelines and their availability, and with release coordination, planning and execution. Device and implement continuous improvements to Solution architecture, risk management and mitigation, Business Continuance planning, Security best practices, Development/Test automation, with an Engineering mindset. Requirements 5+ years of experience in managing, mentoring and motivating teams, with solid foundation in Project and cost Management. Demonstrable experience in team building, career pathing, talent acquisition & retention is needed. 5+ years of technical experience in DevOps, strong foundation in Systems Automation frameworks, CICD frameworks, orchestration frameworks, containerization / K8s implementation experience across one of the major Cloud Platform providers (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.). Experienced in Agile Methodologies, ability to balance workload across competing priorities - among Projects, Scheduled/Planned work and ad-hoc Operations style requests. Demonstrable expertise in establishing Strategy in alignment with Business Objectives, Managing to KPIs and metrics around Security, Privacy, Velocity, availability, resiliency etc. Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
