Job Description

TheDirector, Deal Deskwill play a critical role in supporting our sales organization in deal structure, pricing, competitive benchmarking, channel engagement, revenue compliance, contract negotiation and be the sales business partner and a key link to back-office integration. This position sits at the intersection of Sales, Legal, and Finance acting as a strategic advisor, managing deal flow, and driving sustainable growth while minimizing sales cycle times. In this role you will...

+ Lead a global team of Analysts and Managers (EMEA, North America and APJ)

+ Manage all aspects of Deal Desk including supporting sales in deal structure, approval, and management while focusing on decreasing sales cycle times

+ Provides strategic recommendations to accelerate revenue growth by producing & maintaining pipeline metrics

+ Identify gaps in processes, make recommendations, and execute scalable solutions

+ Develop relationships with cross-functional leaders across the organization to ensure best practices are met in deal closure

+ Review and approve complex quotes and order forms for completeness and accuracy including drafting non-standard order form language when needed

+ Become an expert in ensuring operational excellence, including adherence to sales process requirements and work to improve business processes, including tools, templates and communication to increase efficiency.

+ Become a super-user of our Salesforce org

You've got what it takes if you have...

+ 8+ years related experience in an enterprise-level business, Deal Desk, Contract Management, Sales Operations, Finance, RFP/RFI management role, or similar.

+ 5+ years of experience managing a global team.

+ 5+ years of experience using Salesforce CRM and/or Apttus CPQ (or equivalent CPQ)

+ 5+ years of experience in drafting non-standard language for enterprise agreements.

+ Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

+ Consideration for privacy and security obligations

+ Adept at partnering cross functionally and able to form strong business relationships through expertise and establishing a position as a trusted advisor.

+ Understanding of accounting standards and revenue recognition

+ Excellent skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

+ Extremely detail oriented and organized.

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks consistently meeting deadlines, including flexible/varied hours to accommodate volume fluctuations caused by sales cycles and fiscal closes.

+ Must be proactive, curious, and be able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

+ Bachelor's Degree or related experience desired.
