Job Description
- Supporting databases and integrations used in the collection of data from restaurants and other various sources
- Understand existing data systems and provide recommendations that improve efficiencies in the flow of data throughout the organization
- Identify potential new data sources and create plans for how data can be integrated into the current systems to deliver value in making business decisions
- Support business users by helping them to understand the source of various information and troubleshoot data discrepancies
- Develop database structures and objects such as but not limited to tables, views, and stored procedures required for an enterprise data warehouse
- Develop data integrations using C#, SSIS, and/or T-SQL to create efficient and streamlined data flows to collect data from source systems, organize in dimensional data structures, and allow for reporting and other analytical tools
- Assist with general database system support such as backup management and monitoring, database maintenance, and database/server security
