Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce is looking to add a remote Data Analysts in San Diego, CA or Corvallis, OR. This position will be remote for now, but ideally this person will be able to work in those areas. Summary This team sits in a group that focuses on software components that enable our clients end products. They have millions of active users that are using their solutions and enables them to collect copious amounts of data. In this role, you will be working alongside all of the teams to measure how they are doing and work on making the products and services better. This group is going through an evolution in how they present their data to their internal customers. They are moving towards creating a self-service model for the internal customers, and will be creating models, and then show customers how to use them. Test primary business hypotheses from insights Deliver automation capabilities for data mining and reporting to be used by stakeholders Deliver process improvements, and additional analytics to PSS Analytics team Prototype and implement new analytics automation to improve analytics Communicate directly with development team and Product Owner to design analytics needs and provide feedback on performance This role will focus on teaching others to do their own analysis Strong communication skills are needed REQUIREMENTS 2-5 years of experience with data analysis Background as a computer scientist or data scientist Comfortable using Github for building and deploying software Experience with data analytics and comfortable producing and demonstrating models Experience with Google Analytics (would be a huge plus) Strong understanding of databases and SQL Use of Databricks Experience with R Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python) Experience with a data modeling tool (Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, etc). Clear understanding of big data best practices Can simplify complex data to easily communicate Able to effectively communicate effectively, as you are teaching others how to run and build their own data analytics Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
