This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate Data Scientist with strong coding / software engineering skills to work alongside some of the country's leading optimization experts.

You will be responsible for the R&D of vehicle / delivery scheduling and optimization algorithms as well as the algorithm release via CI/CD pipelines

To be successful you will need to come from a strong mathematical & analytical background, have good coding and machine learning skills. As well as this, you should have an MSc or PhD in an analytical or combinatorial problem-solving discipline.

Tech experience in the following will help you stand out as an applicant and secure an interview:
** Golang
** C / C++
** Kafka
** Rabbit
** Optimization or Genetic algorithms
** MySQL
** Redis
** DevOps - CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes K8
** Linux

The company are based in the Birmingham area but they are very flexible with hybrid and remote working - just let us know what you want/need and we can make it work.
