Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Data Operations Manager to lead our global data operations, focusing on managing the enterprise's data assets with a strategic approach. The ideal candidate will not only oversee the collection, storage, and management of data, but also drive analytical activities in support of  various marketing initiatives. This role demands a leader skilled in directing data handling practices while ensuring compliance with our governance framework, with a specialized emphasis on Salesforce systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and develop the data management team, setting high-performance standards and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Delegate projects, manage team workload, and ensure data management tasks are delivered effectively and on schedule.

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage the operations of the data management function, ensuring data across all systems is accurate, complete, and reliable.
  • Champion the implementation of efficient data management processes, including automation and best practice methodologies.

Strategy Implementation:

  • Work closely with senior management to devise strategic plans for deploying data management systems and services.
  • Drive these strategies forward, monitoring key performance indicators and adjusting tactics as required.

Data Governance Participation:

  • Engage in the creation and enhancement of data governance policies to support regulatory compliance and best practices adherence.
  • Align data management strategies with the broader data governance framework to ensure cohesive enterprise-wide standards.

Insight Analysis and Persona Development:

  • Analyze insights from platforms like G2 and Terminus to inform data-driven marketing strategies and persona development.
  • Oversee the updating and maintenance of persona profiles within the CRM to aid in precise and effective sales and marketing campaigns.

Contact Lifecycle Oversight:

  • Direct the strategy for refreshing and reactivating contact lists post-engagement, optimizing the sales pipeline's effectiveness.
  • Ensure a process is in place for restarting contacts through campaigns and sales cadences after a period of dormancy.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the liaison between the data management team and other departments, fulfilling data requirements and integrating data practices with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to present data management results, insights, and plans for continuous improvement.

Required Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Managerial Experience: 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in a management role with a minimum of 3 years leading data-focused teams, especially in environments utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Operational Proficiency: A proven track record in managing data operations with significant improvements in data processes and systems.
  • Governance Knowledge: Solid understanding of data governance principles and their practical application in a large enterprise.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication abilities to effectively convey data management strategies to a diverse range of stakeholders.
