Data Engineer (Offshore) - Work From Home

VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Engineer (Offshore) for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Years of Experience 7 - 10 years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, BE Computer Science and Engineering

Tools Required: Data Engineering on Cloud, Big Data Architecture, AI/ML Data Pipelines

Professional Certifications Required: Google Cloud Certified – Professional Data Engineer or equivalent

Experience Required:

• Ability to design and build scalable data pipelines
• knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of data governance and security
• Ability to support AI/ML model deployment and data preparation
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data orchestration tools

Job Responsibility:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support AI banking initiatives
• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare and transform data for model training
• Develop and maintain data lake and data warehouse solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across platforms
• Integrate data from core banking systems, digital channels, and external sources
• Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
• Support real-time and batch data processing using modern data frameworks
