This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 9:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 1050 Patrol Road Jeffersonville , IN 47130 .

This position is currently a telecommute role with the expectation of working in the office full time at some point in the future. Training will be 2 weeks on-site in the Jeffersonville IN office, then you will work remotely, at home office, until requested back to office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and / or providers
  • Resolving failed fax communications to providers for prescription clarifications, refill requests, etc.
  • Research to understand why the communication failed - and work to update the provider profile to ensure future successful communication is maintained
  • Identify issues and communicate solutions and steps to customers and medical providers regarding prescription orders and reorders
  • Outbound calls may be required to the provider and / or member to follow up on requests
  • Cross - training will be completed for additional pharmacy clerk roles to provide support when needed

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll interact with providers with the intent to develop a relationship with them. Within a high volume setting, you'll need to develop knowledge of our various products and multiple levels of benefits within each product in order to best assist our providers / customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 6+ months of Customer Service experience
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Ability to complete the 2 weeks onsite training at the Jeffersonville office location
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
