Job Description

Customer Service Representative

(Call Center)

Schedule: Fulltime. Hours are between 8:30AM - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Location: Madison Heights, MI (On-site in a nice cubicle style environment. We are heavily

invested into keeping our employees safe during this Covid-19 pandemic)

Terms: Long-term (Contract to Hire)

Pay: $13/hour to start

Remote: YES! This position does have the opportunity to work REMOTELY. However - Training (1 month) is on-site. Also, you must be willing to go back to the office post-pandemic.

Main Duty: Over the Phone Customer Service

Essential Job Functions:

· Speaks with patients,

caregivers, doctors, insurance companies, and other outside providers regarding

member account and medical supply benefit needs.

· Verify and answer insurance

coverage questions regarding products they are eligible for and what costs will

look like. There is some Math involved in this portion of the job.

· Maintains patient accounts

by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

· Protects patients' rights by

maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.

· Documentation creation and

follow up to ensure necessary documentation on file.

Key Qualifications:

· Minimum Experience: 6 months of customer service experience.

· Ability to have a thick skin due to some of the conversations being difficult.

· Healthcare / medical office administration experience providing customer service is a plus.

· Proficient computer skills. Ability to learn company software and applications

· Strong data entry skills. 30 WPM

· Empathy, Compassion, Positive Attitude.
