CTO Content Development SpecialistOur Product & Operations Office of the CTO team is at the heart of Dell Technologies. We're involved in ground-breaking technology research, developing technology and product strategies, assessing the competition and generating intellectual property. Working side-by-side with editors and illustrators, subject matter experts and stakeholders, the Content Development Specialist creates clear, concise and easy-to-understand content for multiple channels. It takes an ability to research, analyze and synthesize complex subject matter. And it's all underpinned by an understanding of how our technologies work and how they benefit customers.What you'll achieveWe are looking for a passionate storyteller who thrives on innovation, clear and effective communication and cross-functional collaboration across technical, business and presales teams. You will build content and lead programs that articulate the value of the research, insights and thought leadership of CTO to internal and external stakeholders. Working with the CTO office subject matter experts, you will transform technology research projects as well as strategic analysis around emerging technologies into consumable assets focused on highlighting business insights and implications to educate and influence a diverse group of stakeholders, including executive leaders and decision-makers across Dell.You will:Collaborate with stakeholders across the Office of the CTO to create unified Dell Technologies' points of view, messaging and positioning stories around an assigned topic that will be shared with internal stakeholders, customers and the industry influencersEnsures content created is aligned to the respective audience for digestibility and provides desired influence and/or actionWork cross-functionally to create and drive a consistent cooperative vision, strategic points of view and persuasive messages on assigned topicCreate point of view documents, executive summaries and enablement content as required by topicDevelop content that will drive awareness through evangelizing, writing, speaking engagements, podcasts, blogs, interviews and thought leadership opportunitiesEssential Requirements7+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with a Master's degree; or equivalent experience in messaging, communications, instructional design or writingSynthetize highly technical concepts into simplified messaging that drives outcomes/influence/educationSolid communication, writing, editing, creative problem-solving and PowerPoint skills to develop compelling stories and visual presentationsAbility to map all stakeholder alignments and compromise when needed when working with diverse cross-functional stakeholders / contributorsAbility to research and then present complex topics in simple, compelling, innovative and differentiated terms to all audiencesAbility to build a strategic message with supporting plans and assets that effectively position an assigned topicDesirable RequirementsAwareness of Dell Technologies strategies, solutions, and services portfolios, and/or similar portfolios and companiesAbility to travel up to 20% and a desire to be active on social media platformsHere's our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
