Compensation Minimum:$111,200

Compensation Maximum:$194,900

This role is responsible for leading creative services for the American Family Insurance Enterprise and delivering best in class creative and content strategies that will effectively position the brand to deliver business results.

American Family Insurance has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic creative services leader to design, build, lead and optimize our newly formed internal creative agency. This is our central creative team for the enterprise, which creates integrated marketing campaigns, traditional and multi-media assets/content for multiple brands with unique value propositions and target audiences.

Ideally, we are searching for a creative professional who will exhibit creative agency operational knowledge as well as a proven track record to grow and lead creative teams to consistently generate big ideas, high impact deliverables, and meet deadlines. Candidate must have a strong background in team management, operations and guiding strategic creative direction while overcoming roadblocks to deliver superior quality products. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in meeting critical deadlines and creating operational efficiencies.

Finally, this candidate must be an effective leader manages and mentors; models and promotes an emphasis on learning and accountability within the team.

Responsibilities include casting a vision to become a best-in-class internal agency that will support multiple brands. This includes organizational design, creating and execution of operating models and technology.

Functions include driving creative and operational excellence across the team and optimizing ways of working to drive enterprise alignment. Establishing cross functional relationships with COE (Operational Center of Excellence) and other enterprise stakeholders is a critical component of this role.

Primary Accountabilities
Oversees all aspects of the Creative Services function Provides strategic leadership in the development of integrated content strategy in partnership with key Marketing and cross-functional partners Ensures alignment with brand guidelines, while pushing the boundaries of design to shape how people emotionally connect with the brand Oversees and drives the development of content planning to drive business results and brand health improvements. Leads a team of design professionals and ensures that the brand is correctly represented across all design efforts Other duties as assigned

Travel Requirements

Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service Demonstrated experience creating and executing multimedia content strategies. Demonstrated experience developing creative content recommendations. Demonstrated experience in an advertising or marketing environment. Demonstrated experience managing copywriting for advertising and marketing projects, programs and deliverables. Demonstrated experience presenting and persuade all levels of management. Demonstrated experience successfully leading large, cross functional, complex projects. Demonstrated experience with MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Extensive knowledge and understanding of punctuation and grammar in written documents. Solid knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts, tools & techniques.

10+ years experience across in-house/eternal creative agency 5+ years leading and managing teams, developing talent either in house or within the external agency environment Experience bringing creative "in house" and the knowledge in structuring of teams to best support a matrixed environment Proven track record of driving clear and strategic direction for the creative team Familiar with Agile methodology We are open to hiring someone to work remotely/from home, as relocation is not necessary for this role.
